Calling All Volunteers!

“Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” – Matthew 28:19

The Presbyterian Home for Children needs your help! If you have a desire to be used by God to change the lives of children and their families, please come and volunteer with us.

The Volunteer Program at the Presbyterian Home has three goals:

  • Provide opportunities for congregants to live their discipleship through outreach and mission opportunities.
  • Involve the Home’s residents in healthy relationships with good role models.
  • Help off-set the Home’s over-burdened budget with volunteer work.

The Volunteer Program offers the opportunity to help in two main ways:

  • Work directly with children and families: Volunteer to tutor individual residents or teach life and work skills to small groups. Skills might include cooking, fishing, auto maintenance, gardening, or quilting.
  • Support the Home by working on campus: Volunteer to perform a needed task like painting, deep cleaning, repair and yard work on the Home’s campus.

Please contact us at 256-362-2114 and inquire about becoming a volunteer today!
