    Misbehavior... or something else?
Understanding that sometimes behavior problems are simply "behavior problems" and should be addressed as such, it is vitally important to have the right information before reaching any diagnosis for determining when intervention and/or medication is necessary.

The specially designed testing facilities at the Center allow our counselors to perform extensive individualized testing to determine where a child's potential problem areas may be found. The testing labs have been configured to allow our counselors to view testing events without intrusion and are equipped with comfortable seating, appropriate lighting and noise control to enhance the testing area.

    ADHD Clinic
ADHD is a common developmental and behavioral disorder that afflicts both adults and children. It is truly a disability that is not always alone and can be compounded by other equally disruptive disorders.

How to diagnose this condition and how to deal with it can present serious issues for parents and family members with limited information. Mis-diagnosis has caused many problems over the years for many who could have benefited from treatment.

The Presbyterian Center is home to the Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD) Clinic. Individuals seeking services through the Presbyterian Center ADHD Clinic will receive a comprehensive testing, diagnosis and treatment plan. The clinic is an important resource to all who use it and certainly to anyone who must deal with a loved one with ADHD.
